School Travel Plan

We encourage children to walk to school and make use of public transport.

We ask parents to respect the road markings around the school and not drop children outside the school gates. This blocks the safe places for pupils and their family to cross, which is a cause for concern to governors, parents and pupils.

Please park responsibly, away from the school gate and walk a short distance into school for the safety and well being of all.

Governors continue to work to improve pedestrian safety around school as part of the school’s Travel Plans.

From September 2016 the school has space for bikes and scooters so that staff and pupils can cycle or scoot to school.

All pupils learn to ride a bike at Hague. They have cycle training and road safety awareness lessons and cycling skills workshops.

In KS2 children learn how to ride safely on the local roads.
